Definition: It describes an action that will be finished before a specific time in the future

Example: By the next winter, they will have traveled to London thrice.

Helping Verb: Will have

Sentence structure

  • Positive = Subject + Will have+ Past Participle + Object
  • Negative = Subject +Will not have+ Past Participle + Object
  • Interrogative = Will + Subject + have+ Past Participle + Object?
  • Negative Interrogative = Won’t + Subject + have + Past Participle + Object?
  • Will not = Won’t

Positive Sentences

  • They will have traveled to Brazil by afternoon
  • She will have studied all night by the time July arrives.

Negative Sentences

  • Julia will not have arrived home before we go.
  • will not have gone to school by 8 am.

Interrogative Sentences

  • Will workmen have worked all day by the Winter?
  • Will she have talked about the issues with him before I ask?
