Definition: It describes an action that will be continuing till a specific time in the future

Example: Emma will have been traveling to Paris for 3 days by next week.

Helping Verb: Will have been

Sentence structure

  • Positive = Subject + Will have been+ Present Participle + Object
  • Negative = Subject +Will not have been+ Present Participle + Object
  • Interrogative = Will + Subject + have been+ Present Participle + Object?
  • Negative Interrogative = Won’t + Subject + have been + Present Participle + Object?
  • Will not = Won’t

Positive Sentences

  • They will have been traveling to Mountian since morning.
  • She will have been studying all night.

Negative Sentences

  • Julia will not have been traveling for 5 hours.
  • They will not have been going to school by 8 am.

Interrogative Sentences

  • Will workmen have been working all day?
  • Will she have been talking about the issues?

Interrogative Sentences with (questions word)

  • What will the Plumber have been fixing in the house since morning next year?

Negative Interrogative Sentences

  • Won’t she have been playing the guitar by the next evening?
