End up (phrasal verb)
Meaning: to reach or come to a place, condition, or situation that was not planned or expected.
Examples:
After getting lost, She and I ended up in the cafe till the next day.
Julia thought she wouldn’t like the book, but she ended up loving it
- We planned to prepare lunch, however we ended up ordering pizza instead.
