The reason the First War started was when a young man called Gavrilo Princip from Serbia killed a leader who was from Austria-Hungary named Archduke Franz Ferdinand in a city called Sarajevo it was on 28 June 1914. If you have a question about why he killed him then the answer is simple, he was a secret society member called Black Hand. and he killed him because he wanted to get freedom for his society people from the leader of Austria-Hungary.
